Just made it! Have one more set to add of the blue/green I also made today.

Made two sets and the one in this cinnamon bun is the three shades of brown. One of the shades is so close it just about disappears, oh, well. So, here it is - one with flash; one without. The celluloid comb is a lovely prong I thought matched the paranda really well!

Peggy E.! Your paranda is beautiful, but your comb is magnificent.

Here is my contribution simple white paranda (my go-to style).

My hair looks crazed! Butterfly Dream - your hair is absolutely stunning. Why can't my hair look like this? Stupid hair....

I love parandi!! Although so far I've only made a red-purple one that's shorter than my hair...

    Dutch braid:

    French braid:

With the paranda only in the length:

    From the top:

Braided bun (I love how huge these are!):

(messy one at the end of the day)

    High braided ponytail:

And a multi-braided style I wore to the latest Tolkien meet:

I also like rope braids with parandi, but I don't think I have a pic of those...

Oh wow, SwordWomanRiona, I love the look of your shorter length parandi. I think it highlights the braided portion more by not coming out past the elastic.

These are gorgeous! I've been looking at her shop. The color matches are superb. How well does the match hold up when you move from indoor to outside to evening light? I know how much henna changes, and have been afraid that would be a problem.

I wouldn't say it's prefect, but people are still surprised it isn't my hair, so good enough I suppose? XD
