How often do you wash your hair?

Couple times a week, when it starts looking greasy at the scalp. That seems to be almost every other day in the winter, and maybe every 4-5 days in the summer, because my scalp is opposite most peoples' and gets more oily when it's cold out.

Once a week, usually.
But when my scalp is fine and since my hair is growing longer, I can stretch to every 10 days.
When my scalp is acting up, I need to wash every 3-4 days, but then I try to oil heavily before I wash, because shampoos are very stripping and drying for me.
At mid-point between washes, I start massaging my scalp with a couple drops of oil every day, to help it stay moisturized.
I wash almost twice as frequently in summer as I do in winter (winters are very cold and drying here).

I haven't found a really good and safe shampoo yet, all shampoos seem to be either irritating, or not cleansing enough, or contain unhealthy ingredients.

Whenever my scalp gets too itchy and flaky. Or when I want to wear it down and have it look good. Usually every 5-6 days.

Whenever it starts to smell funny. It depends in part on how often I've been outside; I find if I've been out in the sun and wind a lot I can stretch for a month or more, but if I've been inside for the most part it's generally around once a week or so. It also depends on where I'm going if I'm going anywhere (whether I can wear a hat; whether I want to wear it loose, up, braided, &c.).

Every day. My scalp and hair get so gross if I don't... I have overly oily skin anyway, but it smells, gets dull and limp.. it's so much more bouncy and shiny and manageable [and smells fantastic] if I wash every day. And I've gotten into a routine, so I actually enjoy the washing process in the mornings.

I try to get around to washing once a week. Any longer than that and my scalp starts to hurt. S and C when I do wash with either Tresemme or Suave. Coconut oil lightly the day after a wash, then just leave it alone for the most part.

I wash my hair every other day. I could stretch washes more cause my hair doesn't get very oily but it adores moisture and loves to get wet. I mostly oil my hair heavily a few hours before shampooing to compensate for the frequent washing, otherwise it would be frizzy all the time.
