OK, since I hit bsl my obsession to check my growth non-stop has officially ended. I am finally content to LET IT BE. So tell me, at what length did you stop checking? or do you still check?

Well, when I went from just about hip, to just past BSL... I stopped obsessing for the most part. I do "fiddle checks," where I fiddle with the ends behind my back to see where they are (and because they are soft!). But, I don't constantly look in the mirror, measure, and take pictures.

So, seeing as I went from waist to BSL, not BSL to waist... I'm not quite sure how to vote.

When my hair hit APL back in '06 I was over checking out the length. At that point, it was at its longest (as an adult) and I was just happy about that.

This changed in Oct. '07 because of bleaching damage it has since been cut a few times (I'm now back to neck) and obsessing all over again

I have actually just started really measuring. Before I did not worry about it much and just let it do as it pleased. now, since i have been here it has made me more curious so I have started measuring.

Up until last month I was checking about once a month, and taking pictures. I found this much better as you can easily see how much growth you have got for example between january and august. However, I did often go through the phase of sneaking a peek in the mirror very often in hopes that it may have grown. However I have made a pack with myself that I will not look at my hair in the mirror (behind my back) until christmas. This will be a big challenge for me, but I will just 'let it be' as you say, and then when I finally look at my hair in Christmas, hopefully I will be able to see a tremendous increase in my growth. Ill keep you updated

After I hit waistlength (my original goal), I stopped measuring every month. Now, I actually have no idea exactly how long my hair is.

I'm now between TB and classic, it's going fine I'm sometimes suprised about how long it is but I'm happy with every inch! And I can't wait each month for the measuring day

I still measure, but not nearly as often. BSL was definitely the magic point for me.
2abc/f/ii, almost done growing out henna after 5+ years. Maintaining at tailbone in an attempt to thicken up the ends.
