Thread: Today marks my 1 year anniversary since deciding to grow my pixie out! (PIC HEAVY)

    Default Today marks my 1 year anniversary since deciding to grow my pixie out! (PIC HEAVY)

    Though it's not my one year since joining LHC. (I think that was in January or February). However, I SERIOUSLY decided to grow out my hair on March 5th of last year when I got my final "shaping" hair cut. After that I had a trim for the mullet in June 2012, and then another in September 2012, and a slight dusting in November 2012.

    Since then, I haven't cut my hair except for a bang trim in December. (I don't count bangs as far as the overall length is concerned)

    So here's pics to celebrate my awkward (at times) journey! Sorry some of the pics are big and some are small. >.<
























    And finally-- Me as of today!










    Anyway...it's been a long LONG haul. My hair hits shoulder in the back, cause it's longer in the back than in the front. I'm just trying to focus on keeping my ends in good shape, but don't wanna cut away any length. Maybe I'll get a trim in the next month or so. But yeah, to all those out there who are miserable with the pixie growing out stage, there IS a light at the end of the tunnel. I was positively miserable most of last spring and summer, and hated my hair. Just keep having patience, and eventually you'll get to your goal. I hope I can reach BSL by this time next year. I'd even be satisfied with APL. I just wanna SEE my hair when I look down, you know? Hehe. In time.
    Chin length bob for now. At least it's all pretty much healthy!
