Hair Inspiration and BBQ

I admit that some days it can be daunting to feel so out of place in a predominately short haired world, especially now that I am 50. Yesterday we went for a drive and ended up at a quaint little out of the way BBQ place that had a reputation for great BBQ. Right behind us was a group/family of extremely long haired women. The older ladies had hair classic and below. Younger ladies had a pretty updo with tiny side braids and great bun. It was so inspiring to me to see them. Their beautiful long uncut hair really encouraged me so much. Even though I look at pictures to get inspiration it was so great to have an in person reminder of how awesome long hair looks on anyone at any age. I had my hair in a French braid and it is back to waist after a few trims but I still felt great sitting in the company of a group with great hair.

That must have been a great experience,I know how you feel about being older with long hair in a short haired world especially if you are 50 and up.
