I've wondered about using moons. Do they feel heavy, like they want to slip out or pull? My hair is fine and slippery with a bit of a sensitive scalp (to pulling).

My experience was they flip and point down which then causes the bun to loosen over time

I like the light casting through the shade (?) on your hair.
Last time I propped my phone on a narrow shelf and it fell suddenly and startled me. So I got a tripod for filming now. It's safer this way.

It's been a while since I last posted here or taken hair photos, but I seem to have gone beyond my goal of classic length and straight to fingertip without noticing. I may consider going to knee length, but I don't want to spend more than half an hour with a hair dryer.

That is so gorgeous! I have positive hair envy now.

Awhile back, maybe about a month ago, I posted on one of the threads how my hair was doing something new by coming out with a wave right up by my scalp which it had never done before. I finally got around to getting a picture to show what it's doing.

No, they don't.
Just like with my "regular" hairsticks and forks, I forgot I even wore it.
They aren't supposed to pull, not really. If they feel like they do, you made the bun too tight.
Well, I suppose the experience can vary between people, but I feel the moon sits very secure.
Had mine on for about 8 hours before it was time to go to bed, and it stayed as secure as in the picture all throughout that time.
I also didn't use any bobbypins either, so...
