I made it to my goal length!

Hello everyone! I hope you're having an enjoyable evening. I'm in for the New Year with a cold this time around, and with the quiet house I've gotten around to taking some hair pictures, how exciting! I've been at my goal length for about a month now; somewhere between hip and tailbone. Specifically, it falls just below the waistline of the lowest rising jeans I'll dare wear in public When curly, it fluxes between above BSL and around waist-length. I washed my hair yesterday and wore it up in a bun all day at work today, so these are second day curls, slightly mussed and significantly flattened in places (but it does show more of the length, so that's okay, of course!) Anyway, ignore the frizzies, but do check out the length:













I don't expect I'll try to grow much longer than this, but I don't particularly like hair cuts, so who knows! I do plan on growing out the henna over the next few years. I like the color it gives me, but only in certain lighting; it ends up looking too brassy sometimes. I think my natural hair color suits my coloring better overall. Here's a picture of the natural color, from several years ago (and several inches shorter!)
