No, not really. Another thing is how uneven the colour is from dye... I feel like I won't be able to enjoy my hair until it's all grown out and if I'm not even that happy with the colour, what's the point? Damage too, I'm wondering if henna could make it at least a little bit better.
I like the idea of virgin hair but my colour is so.. in between. I like it in itself but I prefer more of a contrast on me.
Sometimes I wonder if it might be nice to get some face framing layers, I've never had them before. Then I think if I cut them they might drive me mad dangling around my face all the time and blowing around everywhere and then I panic that if I don't like them I'll be stuck with them for years while they grow out.... I wish I could try some fake ones to see if I like them or not.
Those of you who have them, do they annoy you, tickle and get in the way?

Many curly girl method followers use the Tresemme Botanique Nourish and Replenish conditioner and really like it. So I decided to give it a go and... nope. Love the smell but the coconut and aloe in it make my hair really crispy.
Sigh *sad panda*
I love the smell, but it made my hair limp and sad.
I haven't seen any growth for a few months (at least not that I can tell). Is it common to have stalls? Measuring is so hit or miss so I usually just brush my hair out good and go by body markers. I hope it hasn't reached terminal, but if it has then it has.
I love braids, but they definitely tangle on me. That seems quite unfair, lol. Sometimes I can wear a sleep bun instead of a braid...Sometimes it is very uncomfortable and must come down. Ever since my last bad shed I have had major braid frizz. Most of the time now I wear a bun in the day time. If my hair is down it is really into everything.

vpatt, after I found LHC and started measuring, I found out both stalls and growth spurts are common to me. Now I'm trying not to measure, I'll see when I hit BSL if I never do.
I have heard the mermaids singing... and I do think that they will sing to me...
Don't miss the LHC Book Club!
I got two spin pins and now I'm confused. How am I supposed to use them, my hair doesn't stay up at all. Do I need 10 pins or something
Let it grow, let it grow, don't cut or fry it anymore,
Let it grow, let it grow, turn away from silicones
...clogged drains never bothered me anyway.
I know that hair growth is different on everyone, but I have noticed my hair grows about the typical growth of abut half an inch a month. My hair is at my ear at the moment, so I am hoping that in a year it will be at my shoulders. My ultimate goal is to be at my waist, which I am giving myself about 5 years. I know that I need to be patient and be good to my health, so my question is, how long did anyone take to do this? I have noticed lots of different growth threads, but just curious on peoples own personal growth in years. I am making dream goals for my hair, so a timeline with little celebrations to keep me motivated might help. As it is the first time in my life that I want to do something for myself that makes me feel good about myself.
I am shedding a lot. A lot lot lot lot lot. It's thinner than my last huge shed's thinnest ever (because I never recovered to my normal thickness, so this is shed on shed). GP appointment on Friday...
