I swear NOTHING ever affects my hair growth rate. Not for the better nor worse. I've taken MSM for years, and I've eaten a moderate to high protein diet for years, and I've not noticed any changes in my hair nor my nails. But nothing ever slows them down either.

During my childhood, my parents had us eat a hard-boiled egg with breakfast every day. This was unfortunate for me, since I don't have a particular affinity for eggs. (They're okay in combination, like with kimchi on toast, in a breakfast burrito, or on a fried-egg sandwich. But plain old hard-boiled eggs? Ughhhh...)

When I think about it, though, I'm fairly certain the daily egg was instrumental in my hair's growth and vitality.

Maybe I should be eating more eggs again, too.
Wishing you all love, joy, and peace!

    Abacus, biotin contains sulfur

It doesn't do squat for (my) hair but can really change nails for the better!

same for me, biotin, collagen, castor oil, fenugreek, none of it did a thing

I need a lot less product than I thought. I was using a softball sized blob of mousse when I only need a ping poing or golf ball. My hair is more defined and much softer. It's amazing.

I've only just noticed, after hennaing it appears my grey hairs have turned light orange. I like this, kinda wish I had more (I guess I will eventually!)

Interesting! It's possible that it's just affecting my nails, time will tell I guess

That's how I should explain taper to my mom. She always thinks it's unhealthy.

I had trained my scalp to be washed twice a week which was extremely convenient. But recently I started washing my hair on the weekends and now I’m back to washing every other day. Im frustrated with myself now that I have to restart the painful process of re-training my scalp. Its gets really sensitive if I go too long without a wash.

Does anyone have tips for stretching washes and having a fussy scalp? The only dry shampoo I can tolerate is night blooming’s, but only for about a day. Also its windy season here so my hair gets oily about twice as fast as normal
