My natural hair isn't going to last I can't do this whole patchy salt and pepper thing it just looks terrible

Edit: so far I've run out of time to bleach it before my Trip tomorrow maybe, (flying out to brisbane tomorrow for my mothers birthday)

I thought you decided your best look was platinum blond? There's no reason why, with all your hairdressing knowledge and modern repair treatments, you can't grow long platinum hair.
The problem is when you start getting all creative with the dye, my friend, stripping and dying, bleaching and colouring, there has got to be some way to fulfil your desire for longer hair and your love of changing up colours so often!
I really wish I could offer some kind of advice, but I use L'Oreal Casting Medium Brown Gloss and that really isn't in the same league at all.

I really wanted to try and keep my natural colour until I got it to chin length so its easier to touch up regrowth without overlap but I don't think I'll last that long. and yes I do plan to just stick with platinum if I don't use my henna in storage, I should throw it out so I'm not tempted

I washed my hair yesterday night and not much later all my neighborhood was evacueted due to an unexploded bomb from the WWII.. well I ovbiously I wasn't able to apply my leave in, my oil, to dry it... my hair dried naturally in the cold of 4 °C. Less is more sometimes, right? It dried soft, frizz-free, smooth, super defined

So, the conclusion? MORE BOMBS!!! There is an obvious connection between bombs and great hair.

Visiting my grandparents again and the water here is just magical. No amount of conditioners and shower filters comes even CLOSE to the effect this water has on my hair. It's soft as silk, light, tangle-free, even looks brighter.

I'm super bummed I can't replicate this at home

I vaguely remember my hair being at it's best when I was trying to lighten it using honey treatments and chamomille shampoo. I've developed an allergy to chamomille (thanks hay fever) but honey has never upset my scalp since it doesn't have any oils, so I'm hopeful it'll help soothe after going through so much cheapie supermarket shampoo (the only thing that doesn't make the flareups worse).
My current shampoo is "wheat protein" (it's the Carrefour brand, think White Rain, Suave, bottom of the shelf shampoo) and while I doubt it has any protein in it, I do smell like freshly cut hay, which is ironic considering the hay fever.
I'm using honey on my scalp once a week and continuing to shampoo daily. I'm not even touching conditioner until I'm truly sure my scalp has abandoned it's antics.

This time I put coconut oil in my hair before washing it, and it seems to be quite a bit less frizzy than usual so I think it worked? Still frizzy though, so maybe next time I should put some in afterwards too as a leave-in (it smells nice at least, if nothing else)
