I understand, a lot of people seem to feel that way. But I don´t it´s just hair, doesn´t bother me (at least not mine or hair from someone in the family). It´s not as if it´s dirty or something. And when we had a cat, cat hair was everywhere - even in the just opened yogurt, so...

I´m going to shave my DH´s head today, like I do every four weeks. He used to go to a barber every two weeks for a shave/buzz, paying 5 € each time. I´ve been doing the same for him for the past three years, so that´s 390 € saved (we just bought a 12 € shaver).

i have an oval brush from tek so its woden ! I always and only detangle my hair when they are still wet.
I don't have breakage at all, but i might pull some (not a lot) healthy hair while i try to detangle them. This is my problem only. And i wonder if a wet brush or a tangle teezer is better in not pulling out healthy hair. I just don't want to loose even one healthy hair.
Also maybe i should try a leave in conditioner for this problem??

My mom does everyone in the family, and a lot of my dad's family too. It's become normal for them to ask for a haircut when they're visiting. I think it's really cool. No one else I know cuts each other's hair, they always go to the barber, but I have only ever had my hair cut by my mom, and now I cut her hair, too! From what I hear it does save a lot of money. And I can tell her if I want a specific amount off, and decently trust her to do it.

Scrolling through Facebook. Advert for a hairbrush (having got rid of one featuring cutting the hair off) trying to show how wonderful the brush is. Start by showing someone brushing a child’s hair from root to tip and getting the brush snarled up in tangles and then attempting to rip it out of said tangle. Then brushing the same way with the supposedly excellent brush. People comment how good said brush is and how it is worth the extra expense. Me: why don’t we just teach people how to brush hair properly and not to go from root to tip…

When you have multiple long haired adults and multiple cats in the same household, rampant hair everywhere is just a fact of life LOL

I applied warm oil to the hair around my scalp before washing yesterday (because it supposedly helps break down flakes stuck on the strand ?? ). But I must've overdone it because my hair was still SUPER oily even after washing with sulphates and it was absolute hell to detangle, as much as I could bear to anyway. This is why I don't put stuff in my hair Definitely going to need to do a full wash next weekend to ensure I get it all out.

In March, I started to decorate my hairstyles with fresh flowers/leaves from our rooftop gardens and plants in our neighborhood and well, it goes surprisingly well.
I don't know, maybe because both are things that grow well with enough care, water, and nourishment.
I think I will continue to do this even when some of my plants fruit in summer and autumn. Here are some examples so far.

I wonder if I should start a new thread about "Blooms in Buns/Braids, Corsage Coiffures, Herbal Hairstyles" (I adore alliteration lol)

If you think it's fun, and would like to share you pics or videos about your hair with blossoms, whether it's real flowers or un-real ones - paper, stone, metal, cloth, plastic... everything floral and herbal is welcome
