I just realized that the bun I've been using everyday for some six years is a Gibralter. Have been assuming it was a Cinnabun for a while now, but I definitely use that inner coil to make it more secure. I also thought it was a lazy wrap at some point, but it's definitely not. Lol

I have tested new ways to take care of my hair this spring. Most of them didn't work as I planned. For example, I tried to brush my hair in the shower because so many videos recommend this. I did it before, and my hair was full of split ends. Now I noticed that the problem is coming back... I also tried to wash my hair upside down but my hair just gets crazily tangled... Then I changed back to the Tangle Teezer, but it just ripped my hair so much more than a boar bristle brush... In the end, I feel like I should trust more for my own experience and not listen to everybody else. I think maybe one of the biggest differences is hair type, which varies so much around the world. In Nordic Countries, we have quite fragile hair, and many of the recommendations just don't work so well.

😄 not a well worded compliment, but decently funny, and sounds like your hair is nicely long!

I have fine and fragile hair, too, and definitely found a lot of things that work for others are terrible for me.

Stopping detangling wet - in the shower or otherwise - made a huge difference in the amount of tangles and split ends I got! I use the TT, but work through slowly and always with a serum/detangler. The bbb I can only use for smoothing the canopy when it’s misbehaving and I’m putting it up. Haircare is such an individual experience.

I realized I was wearing the same jeans as in my December length photo so thought, ooh I'll take a picture today! I have clean hair and everything! So I did, then looked at the two of them - why does it not look like I had much growth? Then it occurs to me: apparently I was wearing cleaner jeans in December, because the same pants are sitting an inch higher on my hip than they are today!

My hair's finally long enough to pull into a tiny ponytail Granted I can't pull my bangs back yet, but it'll get there with time
I usually always have my hair down, but a few days ago I wore it up when going to my partner's house, and they kept looking at my hair trying to figure out what changed LOL. When they realized they were like "Oh! You never wear your hair like this! It looks really nice!" and I got so giddy from it HAHA
