I can't seem to find a conditioner that gives me that "wet seaweed" feeling. That's when I know it's going to behave.

Me too. It's tangling worse because of split ends. I've tried to S & D. I'm going to try some light duty chelating.

I experienced the same thing recently! S&D also didn't help, but some chelating did the trick for me!

Impatiently waiting for my wooden comb to arrive soon! I had such a horrible experience with static last night from my plastic TT. It’s usually not that bad but wow, it was pretty out of control and I had a difficult time trimming my hair because of it and trying to get my hair to settle down. So, I’m so excited to have woken up to this shipping update! It should be here in a few hours. I ordered it from The Body Shop since so many raved about it here, so let’s see! But I’m already relieved I won’t be living in static hell anymore!

Oh! I’m in the same boat. I bought a wooden comb off Etsy a few weeks back. It’s arriving today.

I can’t wait to ditch the cheap plastic wide tooth I’ve been using

My hair experiment (using some skincare products on my hair) has been a shocking success. I've been playing around with ratios and such, but haven't really struck on one that I love 100%.
I've been diluting a thick hydrating toner with water and using it on my hair/scalp and it is has given me an insane hydration boost.

    That's courageous. Haha.
But why not though? I am intrigued. I would just have a very hard time figuring out how to go about it and I would worry that the product I used would be harsh on the hair. I am sure the scalp must love it though. It is skin, after all...

I came across a newspaper clipping I had saved many years ago. It was of a woman and a teenager both with very long hair, who had their ends tied together like a jumprope, and there was a young long-haired girl in between. I don't have it at my fingertips right now, but I think it was taken in London.

Good to know! I bought some shampoo with chelating ingredients so I'll try that this week.
