I'm considering trying to lift the dye from my ends, as they are now darker than the top part of my hair where it fades more quickly due to shampoo (and healthier hair). I have this weird tri-color going on with my natural color, then a lighter reddish brown, then a darker one on the ends... and it irks me a lot.

I will use color remover, not bleach, of course, but I'm still a bit reluctant to do anything. Last time I did that it also turned my hair very ginger which looks horrible against my skintone - it's fine if it's just the ends but to be sure I'll definitely wait until my natural color has grown out some more, I don't trust myself to separate the lengths well enough lol.

I feel this... I also had darker dye on my ends, and I didn't feel like chopping all the dyed part off all in one go, so I just trimmed off a few cm at a time until I had none left. I really hope that you'll manage to remove the colour easily enough!

Though I wasn't very impressed with the soap nut wash as my hair didn't feel very clean, it has seemed to stay in the semi-clean state for longer? Perhaps if you're trying to stretch washes it would work well. hmmmm, needs more experimentation.

Thanks! Yeah, that was my initial plan as I reached waist, but... I want more length
