I used a colour bomb to tone my dyed hair a while ago and my silly damaged length are holding on to the colour like no tomorrow while the not-quite-as-damaged bit between that and my roots is back to faded orange-y brass, making a three-toned blend of yuckiness. I think I will clarify my entire hair later to see if it will wash out. I am dreading seeing the unmasked horror of my damaged hair again but it's probably for the best. I should probably get a silicone serum too for my very ends; I feel as if oils alone aren't heavy duty enough, unless I add so much it becomes stringy.

And ugh, my scalp is hurting these days. I know it's probably from stress and honestly keeping it in a stick bun is so much better than a ponytail (I wore one the other day and I have no idea how I wore it every day before!) but still, auch. I can't wait for more length to find updos that distribute the weight and pressure better.

I think we must be talking about the same thing then, I watched that video. Beautyklove talked about them in a video on Korean hair care a while back. I love mine.

It is great, it is much easier to wash my scalp with it..

Now i'm certain that at least some of my hair is trying to form big spiral curls. I wonder how will it look when it gets long and there will be more length to spin around the invisible axis.

My ends are super uneven, I thought letting someone else cut my hair was a good idea but I really think i do better myself. I lost like 6-8" and it doesn't even look nice, I feel so remorseful but at the same time stressing about it won't make it any better. Just hate that'll take 6 months to a year to get back to waist

I want to give my hair a break.

I want to quit LHC for a while and forget about my hair so that it can just grow on its own while I do other stuff. And when I come back for my one year hair growth anniversary it's hopefully already at BSL and thicker.

    Two random thoughts for today:

    1. I realize that they're kinda dorky, but I'm pretty pleased that scrunchies are becoming a thing again -- especially the ones with the little bows on them. So cute.

    2. I'm about halfway through my February updo challenge, and I'm glad I'm doing it and I've rediscovered some cool hairstyles, but man, I'm tired of pinning my hair up and having braid waves and not being able to use some of my favorite toys. But I will power through! And hopefully have a couple new go-to styles at the end. I've already rediscovered the Pha bun, and that by itself is a win to me.
