Except when drying or onstage (sometimes - and not at all 2020! *sob*) it's always up, usually in a bun, or I do a plait, fold it a few times and put on a double comb with stretchy and beads (I don't know what to call them)
At the moment I French braided from my fringe and then put the plait in a bun, held with 3 large plastic pins.

Maybe I'll try this again, see if it takes my mind off checking to see if I reached Shoulder yet, lol. I still can't tie all of it up yet though so all I'm probably going to do are pony tails, pigtails, and ponybun versions of those two
