    Default Recommendations for DBF?

DBF is a 1a-C-i/ii with dyed black hair at collarbone, and he's been wondering about natural alternatives to slow age related hair loss and keep things looking healthy and thick. I gave him the ole' cassia treatment and it seemed to work as far as visual thickness, he's tried the MN and rogaine and nothing really happened.

If anyone has advice for mr. straight hair, all is welcome.

How long did he try the Rogaine for? Just wondering because it took 4 months before it started working on my hubby. His bald spot is totally gone now after 7 months.

It was about four months I'd say. Best he got was stubblies and I swear it made his roots crunchier than a bag of doritos...

Hmm, best oils? And how often? He has the tightest scalp ever. And he has fairly sensitive skin.

If his skin is sensitive, maybe try coconut or sweet almond oil?? I massage hubby's a few times a week (but he's spoiled that way!!)

What about castor oil scalp massages? I've heard that it's supposed to encourage hair growth.

Ugh, last thing mine needs is to be spoiled any further. lol

I think I'll try the coconut oil first... I know where to get some really good pure, real stuff. Never thought to use it for the scalp, just hair.

I'd like to research castor some more if that doesn't work... hmmm...

    Thanks
