I bought a twisted stick and I'm super thrilled at how close of a match it is to my glasses?! What an unexpected bonus. This one is hard to photograph. I need to get an action shot in better lighting still. Judging from the discussion I might try a twisted-prong fork next.

Pretty! And that is so cool that it matches your glasses!

They will NOT move in my extra-slippery hair.
Do you use the narrow or wide twisted prong forks?

That is a great question, I would like to know what the difference is too between the skinny and wide twisted forks...

I use both skinny and wide, but my personal preference is the wide. The fork is almost like two twisted sticks side by side, and works incredibly well in a lazy wrap bun. The wide will work in a lazy wrap, but takes some doing. However, the wide is EXCELLENT in a cinnabun (my go-to bun) because my bun is not too large. One stick grabs some hair on the top and one grabs hair on the bottom so it isn't going ANYWHERE.

Oh now that is interesting to learn... I always though a wide fork in a not-so-large bun would fall apart! My wallet is going to cry now that I have been severely enabled

Proof if any were needed that hair types self-reported here similarly may in fact not be very similar. My hair will not stay in a cinnamon bun unless I use more pins than hairs. Forget forks.

Lucky you! So many pretty two-prong twisteds!

My first ever CMW fork arrived today

It's 5 inches total length, I don't like a lot of fork showing so I'm not sure if it looks okay or not... but it's entirely possible it'll also look better in a different bun (my hair wasn't having it today). Either way I love it, it holds super well and the color will match a lot of my wardrobe.
