p.s. The hair sticks are cute!
I appreciate your opinion. I still want to wait until the end of the year and see how it looks then. I want to be sure.

I love my new hair sticks. I have to be careful for my hair is very thick and I don't want my hair to break them. Lol

Hi all! I guess this is pretty much where I am right now, just starting at SL. I've got a lot of these acronyms figured out, but what's APL, aside from the next check point?

Reached APL but chopped off a few inches to shoulder due to damage. I regret it! I should've just put henna into it :P But it's okay, hair grows. Mine grows pretty fast and I'll be better with my vitamins!

    APL is arm pit length

I always get stumped by acronyms. I found this super helpful http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/...ad.php?t=54874 (still do even now)
Pixie *SL * APL * BSL * WL * HL * Curly Waist
SL Dec '13, APL Mar '15, bsl Dec '15, WL Dec '16, HL Dec '17, TBL Dec '18, CL Dec'19

    Hey, this is great -

I was just wondering if BSL = MBL (mid back length) I'm still not sure if they are, but I guess I'll stick with BSL since in my head I was using them interchangeably.

It really does! We don't have short hair, we don't have long hair, our hair is MEDIUM length. eugh...
But think about how pretty our hair will be in 1 year!!

Applecinn, that one I've got. They're not the same really. BSL is bra strap length, or to the top of your bra strap. MBL is somewhat below that.

Just checking in to report some growth. I haven't been around all summer because I had a serious and depressing growth stall. But, finally got past shoulders and Im at about 22.5 inches long. Just like some of you were talking earlier, I am 5 foot 9 inches tall and so APL is more like 24/25 inches dry, and BSL is 27/28ish from what I remember. Sigh....

this is day 4 hair so it looks much longer and straighter than my usual freshly washed wavy hair.

Hovering above APL all summer, I stopped checking. It will get there when it gets there

Remember that to some people we do have long hair. But wouldn't it be nice if we could come up with a marker between collarbone and APL? What would we call it....the abyss..hmmm? There must be a better more hopeful name.
