Silver celtic knot slide in a half up topsy.
Decorated leather slide with Gibson Braids.
I poked around a bit and couldn't find a thread dedicated to hair slides, so I figured I'd start one. Show me your hair slides and how you wear them! I'll start.
Here are my two new leather slides.
Here is the bottom one.
Style is a topsy ponytail looped loosely a few times and then pinned in the middle.

Here are some of my Native American slides. I have around twenty or so.
Seeing these has made me want to invest in one.
I guess you can get them at a store that revolves around hair accessories?
20 or so? *swoon* I must keep an eye out for bead work!
I don't know! I've seen them at crafts fairs, I'd imagine ones like Catladyintown shared can be found at powwows. I've seen some amazing looking ones in leather as well as polymer clay on Etsy, that is probably your best bet otherwise I'd say just keep your eyes open.

Thanks neko kawaii. You can also try Indian reservations or find some Native American websites that sell them. I bought a lot of min on the rez and ebay.
My other new one on a braided cinnamon bun.

Hair slides were the only thing I used, apart from hair elastics, as a teenager. To hold a simple ponytail since that's all I knew at that time... But now I know more! However, now I have exactly zero hairslides. Time to make or buy some...
My mom used to wear a slide. I think they are so neat. I have 2 fake-arres I use for half-ups, but part of the hair falls out the open side. I could use ponytailers, but slides are so pretty.
