Some people need to wash their hair often and some find it best not to, what about you?

I voted other. I am just about an everyday washer, but not quite. And, I'm not an every other day person, either. I go by this schedule:
Friday: Shampoo/Condition
Saturday: No wash, down day.
Sunday: CO
Monday: Shampoo/Condition
Tuesday: Either CO or No wash.
Wednesday: CO
Thursday: CO
The point is that I can skip a day after shampooing, but I don't always.

I voted every 3 days, but it is twice a week. I wash on either Saturday Night or Sunday morning and then sometime between Tuesday night and Thursday morning. (all depends on the schedule) In the winter, I like to stretch hair washes to once a week to minimize wet hair in the cold/blowdrying but it doesn't always work out that way.

I wash my hair when I sweat a lot like in gym or when I go swimming and to sauna. Rhat makes at least three washes in a week. If I washed my hair only when it look dirty, that would be about every 6 days. Clearly my hair is suffering from much washing and detergents in shampoo and getting frizzy. So I am now moving into those water only washes.

I didn't vote because I am still figuring it out..... pre-LHC, every day... when I started lurking, I went every other day... then after joining LHC, I tried every 3-4 days, but was oiling heavily and hated it (not the oil, the greasies from not washing)...... I am now using coconut oil/ aloe mixture as daily leave in also a lighter hand w/ the oil part).... am on day 3 (no wash) an hair looks good (no greasies) and feels happy........
Am FINALLY at waist (note to self, update siggy pic)... To maintain or to not maintain (keep growing).... that is now the question

I wash twice or 3 times a week, depending. So I voted every 3 days -- that's the closest option.
don't know whether your hair is brown or red? us neither!
hit my length goal of tailbone ... now learning to maintain and aiming to reduce split ends!

I'm an every other day washer, mostly. Sometimes I do every 3 days, but not that often. I try to CO wash every other time, though, so I only use shampoo every 4 days.

I wash it every 6 days, because on the 5th it starts looking greasy and I bun it. If I have to stay home (exam period) I can wash it on the 7th... but my rule is "If it's dirty, I wash it" and it usually happens on the 6th day.

I wash my hair with water 1-3 times a week, depending. Shampoo? Last time was some 6 weeks ago, I think.

I generally wash once a week. I SC, or CWC.
