    Default Long ago member now returning

    Hi, everyone!

    I joined the long hair community back around 2007 or so and was firmly committed at the time to growing out my pixie cut. Unfortunately I only made it 9 months into my grow out before I cut it back to chin. I've had a pixie most of the time since I was 16. I'm now 36 and am entering a new phase of life. It feels symbolic for me to leave the pixie behind for good and grow to the other extreme, KNEE! I am so excited. I have loved long hair even while having the pixie. Very confusing existence, haha. But I loved my pixie, I truly did. But 20 years with one hair cut? It's time to move on. I can't wait to enjoy all the stages that come on the way to knee. I hope I reach it by the time I'm 50. Getting minimal trims. Happy to be back and hope to be active! I'm currently between pixie and chin. In the Shagland.
