Highlights around the face?

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone highlights a few strands of hair only around the face? I will be growing out my blonde highlights, but would love to keep a few strands in my bangs and around my face to help brighten up the look. Anyone else do this? I would love thoughts and/or pics!

Have done that before. I loved it. Much easier upkeep. I have to keep more in my hair now because of my *ahem* platinum strands that are showing up more and more. I have highlights and lowlights now. So why not go for it?

I've been considering this, just to lighten things up a bit. I've done bleached streaks in my hair, it's damaging, but at least it's only a small portion of your hair, not all of it.
