It's too short for me to get a good understanding of your hair, but I'm thinking ETA: 1b or 1c?
I wouldn't be able to tell you the fineness/coarseness of your strands or your overall thickness without seeing you in person though.
Hey guys. I'm still new here. I am growing out my hair for the first time in about 7 years. I always thought of myself as having stick straight hair, but I don't know. I am really not good at looking at a series of pictures and matching one up to them when they are all similar (I did look at the self-typing thread). Will you more experienced people please give your opinions on what my hair type is? I would have thought my hair is fine, but going by the self-typing thread, my individual hairs are very easy to see when they shed, against almost anything. Also, my hair is damaged, but pretty much any time I've had my hair colored or permed or even cut, the stylists always comment on how much hair I have, if that is important in typing. My hair tends to look wavy when soaking wet and flip either under or out at the ends...usually both in different spots on my head. Well, here it is...

I'm not sure how to post pics, so if that doesn't work, here is the link

Thank you in advance and please excuse me if this is a breech of etiquette!

It looks a lot like mine, so I'd say 1C Don't know about your thickness though! Or if it's fine/medium/coarse...
So far, 1C, but length may add some wave.
Thanks, guys, for the fast responses! I was thinking 1b/1c based on the pictures I saw on here, but I couldn't decide. Maybe a mix. Thanks again!
