Default Renaissance Festival Hair Braiding-Follow up

I figured I might as well go the whole nine yards and put up the rest of the photos.

This was right after my hair braiding. (Wealsey back in his spot!) My best friend and I fell in love with this Great Dane on our first visit. She was the four-legged ambassador for the local animal shelter. I loved that Dane!

A quick shot of the finished braid. I wanted to get some photos of it before I took it down a few day later. I was very sad to do so!

    The other side!

The sweet heart bun in the back. I really wish I could do this sorta style on myself and actually make it look good.

It looks absolutely beautiful! I always wanted to get this done at the local Ren Faire.

Strange question... did they use a lot of hairspray or gel/mousse?

Not a strange question at all!
I personally don't think they used a whole. They had a glass jar of some sort of clear gel. It may have been simple aloe. They would occasionally use a dab to smooth flyways. And then when they got done, if I remember correctly, they asked if you wanted some hairspray. Now that I think of it, it was very considerate of them to ask before spraying.
I think both times I went, I got hair-sprayed and the braid lasted a good long while, without frizzing terribly.
I want to say that they even mentioned you could shower and get it wet. Just remove the flowers first!

Just lovely, and the Ren-Faires can be so much fun.

You might want to ask a mod to merge this thread with the first one. You're just limited to ten images per post (that includes smiley's!) so you can turn right around and add more pictures in a second post in the same thread.

So pretty! Do you know what kind of braid that is on the sides?
