Default Snake Hair and a Gibson Braid

Today I woke up with a fantastic little snake-wave and I had to take a picture of it:

And I did my first attempt at a Gibson Braid-Tuck today. It took me a while to get it done, and I am not too happy with the conditions of the small braids, but I think had I can work on it and make it look better:

(You can really see in this picture my natural color versus what sunlight does to my hair.)

That's a cute little snake wave. I think you did a good job at the gibson tuck braid. Keep practicing!

Nice wave! Isn't it funny how these things happen sometimes while we sleep?
From BSL to classic to pixie to chin to ... ??? All my hair is now virgin and LHC-loved.

I wear my hair in two braids when I sleep and every morning when I wake up, I find that the last 5 or 6 inches of my hair has snake waves similar to what you've put up in your picture here.

Yours looks beautiful. I love the color and the way the waves seem to glint like gold.

Very nice indeed! I never have snake waves, my hair is just stick straight. I have to make do with pet snakes.

Your hair looks very beautiful here! And that is a gorgeous barrette/clip also. Who made it, if you don't mind sharing?

I am not sure who made the barrette. It was given to me as a gift and there are no real clues on the other side of it either. You may just have to go a search for a fairy/faerie barrette and see what you find that way. sorry I couldn't be more help.

Here is a larger picture of it. (sorry it's connected to pictures of two other toys of mine.)

Oh wow! That Gibson tuck braid looks so beautiful and elegant! And that hair clip looks so fantastic with it, too!

Looks like I have something else to search the board for instructions to!

That tuck looks an awful lot like a flip-through! I haven't been able to master the gibson tuck, as it tends to get very messy and then ends up limp anyway. I can't fit much hair at all into the "pocket." It looks fabulous on you, though!
