    Default Avocado oil

I haven't been able too find much about this oil here on LHC. I recently came across this seemingly light oil, smelling wonderfully with just a faint smell of its own. This is just to my liking, don't like to smell alot from products in my hair. What are your experiences using it in your hair? Mixes? Thoughts?

Avocado oil is my hair's favourite oil! It's a bit heavy so I use for pre-wash treatments, but nothing has left my hair softer or smoother.
    Amazing for dry scalp too.
    I use it undiluted.

Hmm I have about half a bottle left that is borderline rancid. I'll have to try it as a pre-wash next time I wash to try to use it up!
    Taking an LHC break.

I love avocado oil!!!! especially if I want to relax my curls and have silky soft hair. not great for curls though. also not great for skin, it doesn't soak in so can cause breakouts I think...

This is one of my new loves. Of all the oils I've used this one leaves my hair so SOFT and shiny. I've been using it to moisturize between washes and to pre-poo as well. It's truly wonderful and very light.

Avocado oil works wonderfully on my skin but terribly on my F/M hair. It left it lank and greasy, this is funny although since EVOO works on my hair. Right now I am using argan oil, coconut oil, or mineral oil depending on how I'm feeling.

Different strokes for different folks, I suppose! :P

I love it for both skin and hair. It is one of the oils I use in my cold cream and conditioner.

I just love avocado oil. I'm using it for my pre-wash treatment and it's awesome ! I always got silky and shiny hair after a CWC. I'm presently using it up 'cause my bottle will go rancid in a few weeks and will probably buy another one when I'll finish all my other oils.

Another fan here - my hair is pretty UNFUSSY when it comes to oils, but I do remember getting REALLY soft hair with avocado oil. Just a couple of drops on the length and ends of damp hair worked well for me, or as a heavier oiling pre-wash. I think I liked it best as a leave-in on damp hair.
