Welcome
Hello everybody,
I have known about the long hair community for a while but have finally got round to signing up!
My hair is currently tailbone length. It has been long all my life, but I am currently growing it out from having it cut back to waist length.
My wash routine is every 2 to 3 days with shampoo and conditioner bars, with the occasional ACV rinse, about once a month.
I am trying to stretch out my wash times, and I am looking into more natural ways to wash my hair - I am thinking about trying an egg wash soon.
I am looking forward to learning more!

Hi Welcome!
I'm new here as well. So here goes nothing.
Is it normal to accidentally pull out hair(s) occasionally?
I am so glad I came across this website. I was wondering; I'm 5'6 with waist-length hair and occasionally accidentally pull a stray hair in the most random ways. I go to extreme pains to keep this from happening, and when I ask others about it, they act as if I'm the only person on the planet this happens to. How about anyone else?
Oh... my... gosh... Someone actually replied to my hair question! I don't mean to get all dramatic, but I've had very bad luck with in-person and online communications about the subject of hair being accidentally pulled out. Usually, I end up being called a compulsive hairpuller or accused of suffering from "Trichotillomania." Long story short, I was diagnosed with skin cancer on my scalp about five years ago and have some pretty bad scarring from surgeries. I worried about trying to keep the hair I have. Anyway, thank you so much for the reply, and I hope to hear from you again soon. This is not only cathartic but also a relief, knowing I'm not alone in this "involuntary hair removal" situation.
By the way, it was definitley pulled out. In actual fact, I had just poured some milk into a glass and when I screwed the cap back on, I didn't notice one of my stray hairs trapped under it until I turned my head and... yank.
