Lianna, that's an awesome bun and a great clearly written and illustrated article! (And wow do you have a lot of thickness going on! *envy*)

Hmm, I think I understand....I have a little bit of trouble visualizing the up/down/twisting part but I'm sure I'll figure it out once I can try it in my hair. Thank you for the article!

It's okay, jaine. I wanted to get pics because isn't that obvious, but I couldn't balance myself to take the pic and put a hand on my hair, LOL. In this (horrible) pic, there's a step by step but the hair is wet and all over the place. >.<

Don't worry, I wouldn't let the band show. (on purpose anyway!)

Wow Lianna! Very cool bun! I just got my first few hairsticks and couldn't figure out what to do with them on my just past shoulder length hair. Will be giving this a shot tomorrow for sure.

Thank you. I did a little variation this morning. It's a little simpler (and quicker). I used a fork but two sticks there work well too. You could just leave the elastic and add a flower on top aswell.

Lianna, that IS awesome! Gonna hafta try that. My hair is just long enough (in the back, anyway) that it has to be put up for work, so I'm looking for styles that not only will stay up all day, but similar to what Jaine said, won't make me look like I styled my hair with a weed wacker when I take it down at the end of the day. Thanks!!

Only a couple of days ago I discovered, that I can do a cinnamonbun with forks and also sticks. Love my ketylos the most for that.
It holds all day and I don't have to re-do it once In the end of the day, when I open my hair, I do have to comb it to look nice again.

    Congrats!!
I agree, ketylos are great for cinna-buns. The ketylo-cinna-bun is my most worn style at the moment. I havent mastered the fork cinna though just doesnt feel as comfy as sticks

Okay everyone, this is damp hair (obviously) but does this look APL to you? I know the curls are a bit deceiving. I have been trying to decide for a week now. Should I wait one more month before graduating to the next thread??
