Nice link thanks for sharing its in my favorites now!
I'm not sure if anyone has ever posted this before...don't seem to recall ever running across it.
BUT.....
For everyone who wants a picture of what the different hair types look like so they can better figure out their own type go to:
http://www.curls.biz/curly-hair-type-guide.html
It is a sight that sells products for wavy & curly hair but it has all pics of the straight 1a & 1b as well.
Their products also seem pretty good & after the holidays I'm going to get some of the products & try them out.
We'll see how that goes.
Nice link thanks for sharing its in my favorites now!
Buzz October 2015 to get rid of bendigo and lots of other damage, now Al natural and loving it....where will my journey end? I will tell you when I get there. Lifelong Co washer and LOC method currentl approaching curly hip
It would be even nicer if it was true, I think "our" own is better. I've for example read that Jennifer Aniston in reality is a wavy who flat irons her hair all them time.

http://www.elle.com/Beauty/Hair/Jenn...s-Hair-SecretsWhat’s Jennifer’s natural hair texture?
She has naturally wavy, medium-texture hair, and she has what you would call good hair—it goes curly really easily if you scrunch it, and if you blow-dry it straight, it stays straight but with body.

I don't like it much. Their type 2c is an artificial picture, their type 3a has 3b hair (or it looks that way) and their type 3b hair has type 3a.And they don't have types for straight hair, and not all straight hair is the same!
And don't get me sarted on the type 4s. The 4b picture loks like twists. Those are really just tiny ropebraids--not a freaking hair texture. And the 4a is really a 3c/4a. And that last picture is a combed out-blowdried fro.
I'm not fond of our typing system, but at least it's generally accurate.

I can't really rely on this typing guide, though I wanted to. Most of the girls pictured have their hair styled, you can tell they used product and rollers and such. And Jennifer Aniston? C'mon, the only straight about her hair the is Sedu Iron. Look at pics of her from back in the day, her hair is puffy and certainly quite wavy. Beyoncee? I'm pretty confident she wears a hairpiece...I think typing is best done when your hair is in it's natural state. Anyone can have straight hair after BKT or the like.

I don't like this hair typing link, either. For example, 2A looks to have more spirals than the 2C picture - very misleading.
My hair is straight and there's nothing else to it? No wonder I felt like I had perpetually messy hair before I learned that my hairtype actually is supposed to have some waves.

I'm a work in progress.
Yeah, I find it a little off too.
Soft hair that is nice to sit on - now I'm bragging!
