There are lots of methods for heat-free curling, but if I want my wavy hair to be slick and straight like I flat-ironed it, is there any way to do this without damaging? Thanks everyone!

Wrap it!!! I do it whenever I want straight hair, and it works great. It's not PIN straight, like with a flat iron, but it looks very sleek and smooth. Here's a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbvAh3AVFa0. Just do what she does and use pins to keep in in place, then tie a scarf around for sleeping.
Goal is a couple of inches longer with thicker ends and longer layers!
I am definitely going to have to try this. Thank you for the link xoerincolleen. =)
That is one SERIOUS comb-over. I'll have to try this to straighten my wurly mess after washing. Thanks!
Maybe my worst haircut ever.Cleaned up and collar length by Christmas
i second wrapping!!
Its great I love it I actually think it looks better than flat ironing I do it most nights so my hair looks 'polished' with no effort in the morning.
Havent used my flat iron in aaaggggeesss!!!
I think there are serums that can make your hair go a little straighter.
Yes, wrapping. I use a cloth swim cap, so the hair is very flat after, no pins needed. Any type of tied cloth (silk scarf) will just slide off my head.

This is another method I came across http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omGqvaDVGTo . I never tried it and it looks time consuming and maybe it's a little damaging for hair as it has to be brushed when wet. Maybe using a special type of brush and being gentle doesn't cause much harm, I donno
Thanks Erin !!
