Hair dye or henna?

I have been dyeing my hair for four or so years but after reading the article on here about the horrible reaction to hairdye suddenly, i am considering henna. I would like a dark brown color with warmer undertones, my goal is Holly Marie Combs color when she has itdarker, i just don't want the henna to fade to bright red or any other horrific color, but that article gas made me scared to touch chemicals ever again.

Yes, it's possible to get that colour- with a mix of henna and indigo... Maybe Alma as well. The thing about indigo, however, is that it fades very quickly, so you are looking at doing a touch up we very month to keep the red from coming through. It is possible, just takes maintenance. Look around the henna threads, and the articles, and they will give you more info on what you can do, what colour you can get.
Keep in mind, your hair will be darker then your starting colour- your natural hair colour/or the colour you have dyed over your natural hair colour.
