You do full length every time? How often?

I don't mind you asking
I do it about once every two months because I just don't have time to do it more often... and I concentrate on the roots then smoosh it along the length... I have lots of layers of henna on there by now, so don't need to worry too much about even coverage.

I must say, I'm very pleased with how my hair's turned out; I've been taking photos daily as the colour oxidises, and this is how it's gone:



This has been my first time trying henna, and I must say I'm a total convert. My hair is softer and silkier than before henna, and I'm very pleased with the colour - particularly with the way it "flames" in sunshine! Well worth all the mess, I feel. I even love the smell of freshly-hennaed hair; it's the smell of freshly-mown green hay.

OMG arkady that is so freakin gorgeous!!! I see your hair was red before henna, I take it you were using a chemical color? What dye was it, and what is your natural color? I'm now hennaing over chemical red dye so I'm interested in how it turns out on other people.
