Almost APL

I am just about there. It was cut from below BSL to shoulder in April and has grown like crazy. I wish i wish I wish I hadn't had it cut. I thought i needed to get rid of the damage, but i realise i could have nursed it.

I really don't know what my growth rate is, so we'll see when I get there!

I'm enjoying this length, and am contemplating staying here (about collarbone again after my latest trim).

It's funny because I seem to go on a cycle of growing to BSL or a bit longer, then getting fed up and cutting to shoulder. This time i want to see if i can get to hip length. But shoulder (ish) is a very pretty length as it gives body and fullness, which my face needs.

I microtrimmed recently and now feel like I'm stuck at collarbone. I don't think I will make it to APL by New Year's.

I feel exactly same as tigress86. I had to trim (my first self-trim!) some dry ends (took maybe 0,5-1cm), and while my hair feels great, I feel like I'm going nowhere.
I sure wish I had shorter neck

If you really want to reach hip, then you can do it (assuming your terminal length is not shorter).

I have only once had hair as long as almost BSL, and I just don't have that thrill of gaining length and reaching new territories anymore, as newer LHCers tend to have (of which I am glad, it was horrible to obsess over my hair in retrospect!)

I've had it to just about waist when i was young. i'm curious to see how long it will grow - but hip is long enough. And i agree, I think hair is for wearing, not to rule your life. Having said that, I'm more careful with it since joining this forum, and it shows in my hair.
