Can anyone give me a clue as to how much MJ42 glass sticks weigh? Are they heavy?

Depends on the size. I don't find them heavy. If you need to find out the weight, I can weigh a couple of mine, but I won't have time for that until the weekend. If you haven't received an answer by Sunday, PM me to remind me.

I have one of his, a spiralling cobalt, 6.1/4" long, maximum width 1/2". According to my kitchen scale, it weighs 23 grams. Personally don't find it too heavy to wear. For comparison, my Lady Idun stick which is about 6.1/2" long is 18 grams.

Thanks Kamir0! Hope it's not too big, like ridiculous or an overkill! It is a huge fork, 6.5". But I think if I can pull it off now with MBL hair, I may actually need it later.
I was also told many times that I have a big head and it seems true, my sticks are also 7".

Thanks, Fire (I love your nick)
Well I'd had this fork in my cart for like ten days, adding it, removing it, you know. I emailed the seller about teh finish that didn't look perfect between the prongs. I also thought that it was too slender for my hair and that because it's a 50% reduced strength fork, I'd break it. Seller sent new pictures and I just fell in love...

Then another LHC member confirmed my suspicions when she said she'd broken 3 of these. By then it was too late - I bought it. Then the seller didn't seem to ship it in time. All in all, I felt like this was probably not my best purchase.

I have to admit that it feels very solid, the finish is good and he seems to have shipped it in time, just didn't mark the status 'shipped'.
