How do you like your braids?

Loose braids are pretty but I prefer the feeling of a tight and tidy braid so that’s how I wear them. They turn plenty loose and whispy by the end of the day anyways ha

Firm but I prefer fishtail braids over traditional braids ( back when I had hair at least xD)

Depends. A loose braid for sleep. A pony-based braid for a tight bun. An upside down Dutch/French braid for high bun and fingering practice, a romantic braid for photo shoot…

Usually tight braids for me, especially if I'm doing cornrows (not tight to the point of pain though), but on occasion, if the style calls for it, I'll do something loose and wispy.

Loose for sleep, but usually tight for daytime styles because I like to pin them up and loose braids are harder to work with
