I've been really sick for the past few weeks and haven't been able to wash my hair or move it or anything... at all!

So, today when I finally detangled it, I found a horrific knot that I couldn't get out no matter what. Oil, conditioner, etc... Nothing.

I sadly, and begrudgingly, cut off the massive knot. Then I shampoo'd my hair with my new shampoo "Green People Aloe Shampoo" which smells <i>amazing</i> by the way, then finished with Biolage Balm.

My hair FINALLY feels like hair again, looks like hair again, and it's just... it's lifted my spirits a little. I'm going to have to go back into rest-mode but I really don't want to have to let it get that bad again...

So sorry you've been sick and bedridden! Have you had your hair loose this whole time? Mine would be massively tangled too in that situation. Braid it, or put it in a bun on top of your head, as you go back into rest mode. Then maybe you won't get such massive knots that you need to cut them out!

I had it up in a bun at the top of my head, held with a spin-pin. I'm not sure how it got so tangled.

I guess it just rebelled a bit when I took it down. At least it's all over now!

Hope you'll feel better very soon . Sorry for having to cut off that , I second to braid it and see if it gets less tangle, I can sleep with a braid and wear it al day and sleep again without getting much tangles

Now back to another party-pooper, this time hair related. On my daughters kindergarden there's a note saying "hed lice have mooved in" and guess what? we both got them !!

good thing is that it was only a few, like 4-5 on her and same on me. I could see un-hatched eggs on her light hair but I cant study my own. I put olive-oil al over our hair, yes showering in it, and had a plastic bag over and then a hat so it would not drie, so they would die of it. It was easier to remove and I did not find many. I did put an extra on me for many more hours because they seem to like my hair ..... hers is mor slippery. BUT I will not use chemicals they survive it anyway and dont want to destroy our hairs, I ordered an electric lice-comb and untill it arrives this week It will be oils and combing..

have you got lice sometime and how did you do to get rid off them? last time I used chemicals, but I dont really want to now

YumiYume, I have had two occasions of lice in my family with the kids. I have had great luck in getting rid of them as you are, but this is the key thing: make sure you treat again whatever method you are using in 7 days. Because that is when any eggs you might have missed will have hatched, but they are too immature to reproduce. To be extra careful, I repeated 7 days again after that.
