Sarahlabyrinth as always your hair is pretty and shiny in both photos. I agree with the others on this thread that the left-hand picture shows your length, colour and overall health more clearly!

Would you guys help me out here please? I keep a hair journal and put monthly length shots in so I can track my progress.

I can't decide between these two pics for February: (taken daylight and evening); Which do you think I should use for my records? Is it better to use daylight or evening photos?

(I'm liking the effects of microtrims on my hemline too, it is looking so much more even and tidy now)

Thank you so much, by the way! Your comments are always so uplifting. I had dyed my hair black for four years, and back in October I was so relieved to have it lightened more closely to my natural shade. The way my camera handles color sometimes makes it look more reddish than it actually is, so thankfully it wasn't too traumatic going just a couple of shades lighter. Now I don't have to think about the upkeep except for the insane amount of grays I'm getting!

Haven't been on LHC in a long time. Took an unofficial length pic over the weekend. It doesn't seem that long! I'm thinking tailbone by June and classic by the end of the year!

It might not seem long to you but it looks gorgeous! And the hennaed roots look darker than i remember, are you still topping up with vegan/semi permanent dyes?
