Show your updos (for BSL and shorter)

Love that this thread is being revived! You've all got me feeling like I need to put more effort into some up-dos! (why oh why do I have to wake up so late for work instead...)

I'm always hesitant to mess with my wurls too, I feel like I need to brush them out to do any real up-dos!

Wow, so many ideas I need to try. I loved the half-up french braids too.
I brought the flexis in the Black Friday offers and I'm liking them so far, they're really easy to use and I'm lazy so a win win for me

Thank you! You mean the half ups? because I've been told exactly the same in real life.

This is me. If something takes longer than 30 seconds I start getting impatient lol.
Also I always do my updos in second or third day curls so I don't care about brushing my curls out

Also, all the non stick/fork hairdo's are inspiring me to break out the claw clips and try to befriend those darn octopus clips that don't seem to hold any good hairstyles

I went through my old photos to find some more pix for this thread! Hit a gold mine, even after my decluttering I still kept quite a few hair style pix...

This was actually the first time I ever used any sort of stick to put my hair up! (Sept 2013) I actually really like the messiness, can't wait to do this again!

This half-up was from months before I joined LHC the first time, I was trying out ideas for prom. The butterfly claw clip made it look way fancier than it was

What I call a "ponytail bun", I was around collarbone length. It's that style when you just don't pull the ponytail all the way through. This was my go-to protective style for a long time.

A cinnabun held with claw clips, also around CBL.

A nice neat sock bun! Another ~CBL style.

From when I was pretty solidly between shoulder and APL, little double braids! (Sorry I look so creepy in this picture???)

And finally, a super messy LWB(?) I managed at APL.

I think I'm finally getting a hang of how to french braid. It looks a little awkward to do a full one at this length, but I think I can add it to my half up rotation. I will try and photograph and take pictures soon!
