The 5" ones are thinner than the oversized ones - more like a pencil than a Sharpie marker -- but they're still plenty strong IME.

I once bought a pair of his "ultra slim" sticks. They're very pretty and sleek. I haven't snapped them yet. I think even the thin ones have no problem with just hair pressure, though they might be more fragile when dropped on tile floor.

Yay more good news . I wish i was in a picture mood today becaue these desert sunrise sticks look AMAZING with the orange tank top i have on . I worry a bit because my thin fine hair makes very dense buns

I just got back from a trip to Eugene to visit him. Some of the sticks are skinnier than others. Since each pair is hand shaped, there is occasional variation, but he tries to match the pairs at least.

He did a wonderful job of matching the set i was just suprised since the only other sticks i have from him are in that sharpie marker size. The new one have been fine worn then nearly everyday so far . Been to cold to venture out to the craft store to get topper stuff.

    Thank you!

What was the new color? I think similar shades might look nice, but I'm terrible at the color choosing thing.

The bun in your profile picture is beautiful, by the way.
