How long since you went to the salon/hairdresser?

September 10th, 2019, so just over a year ago. I had my layers added.

I don't think I ever had my hair cut at a salon or by a licenced hairdresser. I did not expect that to be an unusual thing!

I haven’t been to a salon since March thanks to Covid. I used to go in for a trim religiously every 8 weeks - now I’m wondering why I bothered at all! It just had never occurred to me that if I treated my ends better, then I wouldn’t need to get them cut off as often. Also, I never would have considered trimming my hair myself until it became a necessity - now I’m not sure I’m ever going back!

January 2018! That was also the first time I'd been to a salon. Before/since then I've managed my haircuts pretty well on my own.

Ah wow! I haven't been to the salon/hairdresser since 2008! That's when I actually went to a beauty school/salon put together when their were students doing hair, and I got some highlights put in my hair for $20.00! I had gotten a really nice pampering for $20.00! I got highlights put in, a special deep conditioning treatment afterwards, and a blow drying. After that, my hair color and highlights came out sooooo beautiful!!! I really liked it a lot! You know I kinda miss going to the salon these days getting a good pampering!

I went once in my 40s when hair started coming out so badly. I HOPED SHE COULD TELL ME WHAT WAS WRONG.

Me too! I answered 6 mo-1 year...

It's been almost 7 now!

I avoid the hairdresser like the plague because every time I got a haircut or do a major change to my hair something bad happens and that turned my superstitious lol

Its probably just random and my brain is making false connections but I'm not going to challenge my luck again any time soon.
