I've been quietly bemoaning the fact that my (very fine) hair will never make an Awesome Bun like some of the pictures I've seen here even though it's got some length to it. But today I picked up a cheap hand-held mirror so that I could admire my bunning efforts while practicing them (before this I'd been working blind, by feel). Turns out that what feels like it's "on the small side" to my hands looks fine in the mirror. Yay!

My hair is sooo shiny and smooth, as if it were naturally 1c or 2a. It was so puffy on wash day due to massive humidity, so I threw 1/2 tsp oil in it. And at this point there has to be at least 1 tablespoon oil in it. I could go a 4th day without washing, but I miss my lazy spirals. I guess it'll depend on what the weather is tomorrow.

For most people that I talk to about hair, waist length visually hair would be at hip/tailbone actual length.

thinking about ordering hairfinity, some women said it made their hair grow 2" in a month. Ill wait a couple months and see if my vitamins make a difference first.

For most people out there in general. My waist length hair would be bsl....... Oh the pains of being short.

Then again...... I get waist length visually without all the inches..... hmmmmmmmmm

I've noticed that, based upon the way my ends curl, either towards my back or away from that; it seems longer or shorter depending upon that factor...

It seems kind of odd really, had anyone else noticed this with their hair? It gets kind of annoying when it comes to determining what length the hair is, but it looks awesome.

I was discussing hair length with my SO just now he was talking about how he doesn't like that's too long .... I told him I was just going to grow it to hip .. he looked at me sadly and said "nooooo to here" ..... He was pointing to my tailbone.. So I guess I'm now growing to tailbone.

Is it weird that I just processed as to how long I will be growing my hair... It's never been tailbone before.. and I'm kinda scared lol

Yes. I don't measure because I have a hard time getting good measurements with waves going one way or the other. I even have a hard time ball-parking Waist Length because the waves change all the time. All of this makes me think I might be more wurly than I thought!
