So I took a picture of myself where my face was gly AF but thought my hair looked pretty good :3 if it was waist length it would be just perfect though.

Okay, so the lighting isn't great (photobooth + fluorescent lights = blah), but I wanted to share my progress.
My hair has grown 1 full inch during this month of January, and I've managed to greatly prevent and avoid breakage/splitting despite the cold NYC weather.
I feel like I've been successful in keeping the ends quite thick too.

And a recent length shot, still in the territory between mid-thigh and knee. I've been wanting to thicken up my hemline for a good while now, but I'm thinking about waiting to get to knee and then maintain. Here it's really red (of which I approve), on other shots it looks darker, ashier, less red, or even bluish!

Wow SwordWomanRhiona... Those pic's are fabulous... I never realised before just how dark auburn hair could be, nor the many colours it could reflect!

Congrats on the length and split avoidance curiouskitty. It does look pretty thick at the ends as well, I agree.

Sarah... What a lovely bun. And the colours in your hair are stunning. The way they come together to make a pattern is just gorgeous. But then, I do love your hair.
