Grow, hair, grow.
Since doing my protein treatment, I've had virtually no breakage from combing
Grow, hair, grow.
Also, about once a month, why, oh why, do you look so good straightened?
Whoaaaaaaah! I just clarified my hair and it feels SO SOFT. Softer than ever. Shinier than ever!

Okay so for the last 30 mins I've been trying to secure a bun with spin pins ..... I've finally got it to stay in place (with 3 pins!) But it doesn't feel very secure ...
I hate the misconception that African-Americans can't grow long hair. Our hair grows just as fast as any other race's, it's just a different texture and it may shrivel and most people don't know how to take care of it.
I really like this thread! I have done a clay mask for my hair and now it is really soft but not so shiny. I am anxious to see if the shine comes back after the next few washes. I am a hennahead and I'm not sure if I will keep my colour the way it is now or add more red. So nice playing with hair!

Yay for wearing my hair up daily and benign neglect! My hair is now creeping past bra strap on the way to waist. This is the longest my hair has ever been.
I feel so bad when I'm impatient about my hair. Like, I could have parted a tangle with my fingers softly but I just don't feel like it so I rip a comb through and end up unnecessariy losing strands.
