How long since you went to the salon/hairdresser?

Just over two years ago. I just went in for a trim & to get my haircut evened up a little, since I knew I wanted to grow it. At that time it was just below chin-length, now it's past BSL!

About 8-10 weeks, same as always. My DD's best friend is a stylist.

I trimmed at home a few weeks ago but had to visit a salon just a few days ago because I know the scissors I used, (came from hell) were dull and I had some major splits and dots going on. I had a good inch cut off and the girl that did it, I would so let trim my hair again!

She was awesome.

About 2 years....been wanting to go back but when I remember that hellish blowdrier it makes me reconsider.

Last week.

I love my hairdresser and know I'm an exception to the norm on this site for that. I completely trust my hairdresser of 7 years. She never takes off more than needs be and tells me very truthfully whether my hair needs cut or not. She's so super cool! Last time, she did a dusting and I couldn't even see what she cut off on the floor. She took just the teeniest part of my ends off. Good thing I have her too, else my hair would be crooked or zig zag.

Last time I had a professional hair cut was right before I joined LHC last April. I was planning to get my hair cut short (it was a little past BSL), but instead decided to just get 2 inches off to get rid of badly damaged ends from my old habit of near daily heat styling. Then I joined LHC and learned how to take good care of my hair and haven't felt the need to go get a hair cut since.
