How often do you wash your hair?

I dont think I could wash weekly or more, it would be disgusting!!!

I do lots of sports and also cycle around a lot, I notice I get quite sweaty and if I left that sweat to stay on my hair for a week or so geez it would not be nice smelling!!!
so I wash every 2-3 days depending on how sweaty and dirty my hair feels...I make up for frequent washes by deep conditioning and oiling my hair plenty so it does not dry out............ I honestly wonder how people could not wash for 7 days or more but I'm guessing they dont do intense work outs or work up a sweat...

I wonder too. I saw this incredible haired woman on youtube. She has 3c curls and only wets her hair once a week, but at the same time she works out several times a week. I was curious and asked her what she did with her scalp. she replied that her scalp wouldn't sweat (that much)...

I voted 8 days or more, usually between 7 and 14 days. I've always had long hair and when I was younger my hair was very greasy and I would have to wash it every 2-3 days. A member of my family who was training as a hairdresser advised me to lengthen the periods between washes as she believed that I was over stimulating my scalp which is why my hair was so greasey - it took a while but she was right and my hair only starts to get greasy now around day 8/9.

I co wash my hair everyday. I used to only use shampoo about once a month. lately I have felt the need to shampoo more often for some reason. I have not excatly paid attention to any sort of schedulae. I just shampoo when I feel it is needed. but anyway I do wash everyday. With at least Con. if not shampoo.

I voted every 3 days. I might try to get this lower, but for now it works well and is definitely a bit better than every other day, which I did for my whole life practically.

when I'm in my homecountry I wash my hair like once in a week, or whenever I feel like washing. mostly I only use conditioner.
since the water in finnland is so soft, I have to wash more often and don't use conditioner at all.

I usually wash every 3-4 days, but I'm trying to stretch washes more now. The main problem I find is that my hair is light and so oil and grease show up easily. I also don't like wearing my hair up very much.
If I can gradually extend the time between washes, so that my scalp oils adjust, I think it would really help my dry ends, and stave off damage for longer. I think once a week would be ideal.

Before joining LHC I washed my hair (and blow dried!!!) daily.
I now wash only once a week but it is a struggle because I think it looks pretty grubby by wash day! Having read this thread and seen that you can wash more frequently and still have lovely glossy hair I may rethink my routine and wash more often, but will never go back to daily washes.
