Last thing I bought for my hair was a lovely new pure boar bristle hairbrush (at Target): the Connair Classic Wood Natural Shine Booster (100% pure boar bristles), retails for $9.99.

The brush has 6 rows of black bristles, nicely placed. It is elongated in shape and is a pleasing warm brown color with a shiny finish. It features a small black neophrene type band around the neck of the brush and the band has little nodules around it to give your thumb a better purchase on the brush when you use it.

I thought this was dandy. I soon found out that neophrene snagged and caught on my hair, so I just cut it off with a box cutter. A really nice brush with moderately stiff bristles (no rubber cushion). I liked it so much, I bought another one!

Madora, we have the same BBB! I haven't had issues with the little black band, though.

My Adorabella sleep cap came today! It's beautiful! A little more pink than it looked in the photo (it's like a dusky pink/tan hybrid color) but it's very pretty! I guess I'll find out tonight how I like it! A question, for those of you with sleep caps: if I wanted to wear my hair loose in the cap, how would I go about accomplishing that? Put the cap on and shove the hair into it afterwards?

I'd try making a sort of loose, unsecured bun, slipping the cap over my head, and letting the hair settle where it may. As for my latest purchase, last week I got a pack of Good Grips from Sally and promptly broke 2. The total of broken ones is now 5, I think. I should've bought 2 packs.

All from Sally's since getting back to LHC: Amish pins, cloth kids hair ties, the biggest claw clip in the store, Ion clarifying shampoo (was a freebie), a BBB, and a Tangle Teezer.
