Longhair forever?

It looks like I haven't answered this thread.

So here goes

How long is your...:
Starting Length?: first time I caught LHC:itis and wanted desperately to grow it loooong, it was about chin length.
Current Length?: APL but getting close to MBL
Goal Length?: TBL would be a nice length to maintain

How long have you been growing?
Actively growing it and taking care of my hair since I joined 2009. Before that and before I cut it to chin length, I did have long hair about BSL, but it was in terrible shape.

You feel the urge for change:
Sometimes I feel the urge to change the color, especially henna... or lighten it just a tiny bit. But I remind myself of why I am not coloring right now, that is I hate to doing root touch-ups. And my hair cannot endure bleach, not even highlights, nada. Been there done that.
Sometimes I do fantasize of having a really short and edgy wolf cut, but then I remind myself on how incredibly long it would take for me to grow it long again.

Do you like shorter styles?
On other people. But to be honest, I love seeing long hair on people.

What could be a reason for you to cut?
Perhaps if my hair would start turning grey, I might cut it at some point to have the rest of my hair match up. And then I would grow it long again! Another scenario could be that something drastic would happen to my health, and I would be forced to cut it if my hair would start to thin too much or something.

And what reason do you have to keep it long?
There are many! I don't want to conform, long hair makes me feel wild. I love pampering myself with hair care, etc. etc.
I do not like the way I look and feel in short hair, I have always regretted it when I cut it.
I might actually have long hair all the way to my grave, I can picture myself old with long white/grey braids. That would be so cool.
