I'm only a few inches away from classic. I think that might be my long term length because it's been longer than that before and it seemed to get stuck on things much more often. I love being at classic length though!
If I lean my head back I can pretend it's classic length.

That is true - taper helps a lot with up do's!

How long is your hair when it's not braided?

Bah, inch or so above fingertip when washed, dunno on later. No idea on straight. At BSL it pulled to fingertip, but not all the curl was out, just can't pull it more. But 3 kids 4 and under, my hair hides in a braid.

Any tips on how to do it with long hair? Or is it pretty much exactly the same way you plop shorter hair?
