Here's my latest pic, not a very good quality pic as it's a bit fuzzy and my hair doesn't look great but never mind. No growth to show as I have had a one inch trim and two small trims amounting to 1cm.

My last shot of this project with my thin wispy ends. Looks like I got about 5 inches this year after about an inch and a half trim.

For comparison.

ETA: Better photo editing next year, I promise.

So this is my last belated picture. It was taken in mid-January as I really wanted to have the same background and I moved recently...
I have a feeling that my taper has gotten bigger but it could also be the fact that the last photos were taken with flash.

Yeah, the shadow from the non-flash pictures makes it hard to see your braid properly. I don't think it really looks any thinner in the last one. Just less shadowy.

I think it is as MeAndTheMaz said, the camera can be deceiving. Looks like a natural amount of taper to me

I know this is super late, but I just got my hair partially pinked yesterday. The original plan was to get one streak of blonde, but this was the end result:
Some parts are kinda orangey, while some parts have hints of purple :^) It kinda reminds me of a sunset!

As for the actual dying process: it was fun! I couldn’t wait to see the final product. Lots of suspense was involved. And do I wish that I had just stuck to the original plan and gotten a streak of blonde instead? No way, José! I love being pinked!

I’d totally recommend it! I love my hair now. I’ve gotten so many compliments (and I got hit on a lot today, I’d like to think my hair may have something to do with it).
